Many educators are sharing their collections of links to Web resources. For many of these educators this has been a "labor of love" for their profession. Included below are some noteworthy examples. As an elementary teacher presently assigned to teach grade 4, I would like to present to you some of the many sites that have come across my way through recommendations, magazines that I subscribe to, listservs that I am a member of, classes that I have attended, and from fellow teachers that I work with.

...1...This is a site that Terry Canann and I developed while attending the SMART96 training course during the summer of '96. The web page that we developed involves students building an electromagnet motor with parts that can be found at home and in stores locally. The motivation for developing this page is for a project developed for a course that I attended this summer at Roger Williams Park Zoo called Beyond KITES. Beyond KITES is an extension of the KITES program. You can visit the site for a more detailed explanation.
